Here are B&W impressions of my stay (as an observer) with Zonnekamp in August 2010.
Zonnekamp is a wonderful initiative in which a group of dedicated volunteers provide a great week of vacation and joy to a number of people with physical and/or mental disabilities.
I heard about them on a fundraising quiz in March, and arranged to visit them while they would be in Schoten in August. I anticipated spending a few hours with them.
What I saw, touched me profoundly. The very first impressions made me decide to clear my schedule as much as possible, in order to stay and capture as much as I could, during the entire week.
More images in better organized galleries may follow, but for now: here are some B&W-conversions, from throughout the week. I included a bit of story with a few of the images.
