This gallery contains the "main" (most touristy) images of a week in
Napoli, Campania and the Costiera Amalfitana.
After a couple of wonderful days in
Napoli with friends, taking in the sights, sounds, smells and taste of this bustling city, we headed south and hiked on
Mt Vesuvius.
The rest of the stay was devoted to nature and archeology, with a stop in Ercolano (with Reggia di Portici) and visits to the ruins of
Herculaneum and Pompeii.
Between those two, we spent two nights in
Positano, which allowed us to visit
Sorrento,
Praiano and
Amalfi and hike the divine
Sentiero degli Dei.
