This gallery contains the "main" (most touristy) images of our travels in
Tamil Nadu and Kerala, around new year 2017.
Places visited In Tamil Nadu include: Mahabalipuram, Pondicherry (Puducherry), Chidambaram, Kumbakonam, Thanjavur, Trichy (Tiruchirapalli), the rural area of the Chettiar Houses near Thirumayam Fort (and the fort and its rock temples) and Madurai.
The Keralan leg of the tour brought us to Periyar Lake for some wildlife spotting and Kumily for spices, the Kerala backwaters and blissful Philipkutty, and finally Fort Kochi (Cochin) for heritage and modern arts.
