A concert by Kid Creole & The Coconuts on one of the last warm evening of summer.
Part sentimental journey (his hits date from my teen years), part just an incredibly fun and swinging evening.
Kid Creole is the quintessential funky gentleman who seems not to have aged (and who has clearly replaced his former Coconuts with the newest model).
I could not decide whether the photos looked best in desaturated deep colour, or in B&W, so I posted both versions.
