This is my photo impression of the first day of the city-wide spectacle "De Duiker, Zijn Hand en de Kleine Reuzin" (The Diver, His Hand and the Little Giant Girl).
The French company "Royal De Luxe", specialized in street theatre of formidable magnitude and impact, brings this performance to Antwerp.
For three days, the giant characters will walk through the city, brought into poetic movement by a large team of assistants, who are appropriately called "Lilliputters".
A great summer treat for the city, its inhabitants and everyone who wants to come and join the fun.
