Here are my impressions of the wonderful Loire region and some of its castles, including Blois, Chambord, Villandry, Azay le Rideau, Chenonceau and Cheverney.
Our home base was the cosy city of Tours, where we spent great evenings and visited the Library and a Vivian Maier exhibition.
