We have just returned from a great trip through
West Scotland and a few of the
Inner Hebrides. I have a mountain of images to process, including three hikes and four sunrise shoots in seven days.
Our itinerary out of Glasgow included the Trossachs, Loch Lomond, Loch Long and The Cobbler, Inveraray, Oban, Loch Leven, Glen Coe, Glen Etive, Road to the Isles, Isle of Mull, Kintyre and finally Isle of Arran.
I will be posting several specific galleries as images are finalized. You can expect some landscapes and wildlife, reports of serious hikes and, of course, impressions of my encounters with interesting people.
Most of that will be in glorious colour. But for now, to offer a first taste of all that is to come, here is a broad selection of
B&W images processed in camera.
Yes, these are straight out of camera JPGs, developed on the road by the E-5 from the RAW files to B&W (or toned), with some rough cropping (basic ratio adjustment) but no straightening of horizons, etc.
Enjoy and come back for more! Drop me a mail with the "Send Message" option (in the left column on the homepage) if you want to receive updates. UPDATE: I am slowly adding some first colour experiments at the end of the gallery. A small selection of 16:9 panoramas are here: West Scottish Cinema
