Pairi Daiza is truly the most magnificent zoo I have ever visited. Superb surroundings with lush vegetation and excellent infrastructure with interesting buildings and simulated worldwide environments.
In these "world gardens" live really large groups of seemingly quite happy animals : their huge enclosures offer them plenty of space for interaction (or isolation if they prefer). Visitors are close by but seldom intruding.
All these images were made on a single day, using Panasonic LX100mkII for the normal range and the humble Olympus 40-150mm kit lens on a tiny Panasonic GM-5 camera for just a bit of telephoto.
