Impressions of a performance by the Academy of Music and Word. A mix of theatre and spoken word/recitation.
For this shoot I was confined to a single vantage point (my place in the audience), where I knew I could hardly use the ZD35-100mm zoom.
So I shot everything from the exact same position, with the much smaller Rokinon 85mmF1.4 lens on E5. Any difference in perspective is the result of cropping.
There is a quality difference with the Olympus Zuiko F2.0 lenses, but I think it is possible to shoot low light performances adequately and on the cheap with an all manual lens.
