Impressions of a bike ride along the one road on Quan Lan island. The ride took us to a small harbour on the far end of the island, where we met the employees of a jellyfish factory. Large jellyfish are caught in open sea, then cut in small pieces and cured for weeks in a salty solution. They are then packed in small wooden crates to be shipped to restaurants across Vietnam. It tastes quite nice, fried or raw in a salad.
