Images from a visit with friends to C-Mine in Genk on a truly gorgeous day.
We went there to go see the Charles & Ray Eames exhibition (from the Barbican; no photography allowed) and liked it.
But we were blown away even more by the site itself, a decommissioned coalmine turned cultural and design center.
The steel labyrinth was a blast and a treat for photographers. Like Charles and Ray Eames rightfully said : "Take your pleasure seriously!"
The final four images show Heusden-Zolder, another quick stop on our way back home.
All images were shot with fast prime lenses on Olympus E-M1: Rokinon 7.5mm fisheye, Panasonic 20mm and Olympus 45mm and 75mm.
